the following was written by one of our Middle School learners as part of a writing project. It was voted on and won, so we're posting it here:

Dear Prospective Parents,

Finding a school where your child feels truly supported can be a challenge. At Acton Academy, we’ve created a warm, welcoming community where students feel safe to be themselves, make friends, and take on challenges. From encouraging teachers to engaged peers, we believe a strong community is essential for growth.

Every student needs a strong support system. Our Guides, Students, and staff create a nurturing environment where students feel encouraged to try new things, ask questions, and grow. Our community is one where every student is seen, valued, and supported.

We know that students thrive when they feel connected and included. We foster a culture of respect and inclusivity, so each student knows they belong and that their unique talents are celebrated. Our environment is designed to build confidence, community, and collaboration.

Acton Academy helps students feel a deep sense of belonging that allows them to thrive. From close friendships to inspiring mentors, our school community makes learning engaging, supportive, and fun.

Students don’t just gain an education – they build lifelong friendships and connections. Our community fosters a sense of belonging that stays with students well beyond graduation. From collaborative projects, to school events, and mentorship; we create an environment where students support and inspire each other daily.
